Capital Investment

As a direct Limited Partner (LP) in our search funders, we seek to place up to 20% per search funded deal. In doing so, we come in as a true partner. Our internal investors are sector agnostic and opportunistic, looking to partner with the right search funders who have the chops to acquire and grow.

Post Acquisition Support

As business buyers ourselves, we know some of the stresses of the first 90 days after close and we are here ready to support with post acquisition integration in everything from human resources to technology and finance. We are here to help long after a transaction is consummated.

Post Deal Services

We offer a unique post-transaction partnership among our existing operating companies (e.g. MARKETER.co) for at-cost discounting on services, providing greater ease to scale. As equity investors and partners, it is in our best interest to want each of our portfolio companies to succeed wildly.  

Funding Your Deal

Direct Investors

We seek to make direct investments of ~20% in each search funders' deal. This helps align incentives to ensure our search funder partners can receive the post transaction support that will help them scale. Due to the volume of deals we see, we may invest separately through a number of unique Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) structures with outside capital, helping you to get across the finish line expeditiously.

SEARCH.co was founded by long-time investment banker and private equity investor, Nate Nead. Nate has helped facilitate hundreds of millions in transaction enterprise value acting on both the buy and sell-side for himself and his clients. As an ex-investment banker AND self-funded private company operator, Nate is familiar with the false summits and low valleys that accompany the entrepreneurial journey.

We work with successful entrepreneurs to buy and build the next generation of private, profitable & sustainable companies. We are permanent capital, preferring to buy and hold in perpetuity.
